A Day in The Happy Place
Well since the Nordstrom website basically crashed during the first few hours of the sale, I thought we could all use a day in the happy place. A nice little pick me up and/or distraction from the fact that I either purchased nothing this morning or I hit the “purchase” button so many times I have 20 orders of the same items headed my way. My coping skills have me living in a fake photo dream land that has arrived recently from Los Angles, The Happy Place.
If you are not familiar ‘The Happy Place’ is a interactive pop-up exhibit that is in Chicago and is here until August 6th. You are able to purchase tickets, online, ahead of time along with valet parking if needed. The exhibit was previously in LA and was a HUGE success there so they took it on the road. The exhibit is so bright and friendly you can’t help but smile as you walk from room to room. Helpful and friendly staff are available in every room to help you achieve great photos.
Some of our favorites were the signature rubber ducky bathtub of fun, the 7-foot stilettos made of a million candies and the ‘X O’ room that is surrounded by a wall of one thousand red lips! Tons of pictures below of our day =)
TIPS:
Its not air conditioned so my long sleeve was a poor choice
Purchasing tickets ahead of time for entry fee and parking saved time
Children under 4 enter for free
No bathrooms INSIDE the space
Outfit Details:
The shirt and shoes are both sold out (already) but I linked very similar items from the same designers for both. The shirt that I linked is part of the anniversary sale! Great price!
I love the pictures, especially of Grey in the yellow shoes.
