Baby Sisters Nursery

I have had a TON of questions about baby sisters nursery so I wanted to get this up for you all! I am still waiting on a few items (they’ve ‘lost’ my rug… twice) but overall it is ready to go. I have had this room planned in my head for a very long time. I originally started planning a girl nursery for our angel girl who we lost back in 2018. Some of the artwork and the crib were purchased when I was pregnant with her and I decided to hold onto them. Seeing them up and ready to go our rainbow girl makes me smile. Needless to say this has quickly become my favorite room in the house =)

I would say 98% of the nursery is from Pottery Barn Kids. Luckily, for you, a lot of it is also on sale right now! Not so lucky for me haha. This room is smaller than Grey’s (I may or may not have taken some of the room when I did house renovations to make my closet bigger) so I wanted to really make the best of the space. I decided to do a mounted bookcase which makes the room feel much more open without extra furniture in the way. I fell in love with the shelves I used for this and added two more on the other side of the room as well. I HATE empty wall space, we can blame my mom for this, so I needed to have something there and thought the shelves were perfect/tied the whole room together.

The chair was a bigger investment since we went with one that rocks, swivels, lays flat and is electric. However, we do use a night nurse service so I wanted to make sure she had a comfortable space. I also really love the chair so win win haha. It is VERY comfortable and comes in almost any color you can think of. Highly recommend.

The snoopy artwork is my favorite thing in the whole room. When I was pregnant with Grey I saw this AMAZING painting at a gallery downtown that I fell in love with. I went into the store and that is where I learned all about Tom Everhart and his stunning peanuts artwork. I mentioned it to Michael later that evening and he surprised me with a piece from his Everhart’s ‘dream collection’ for Grey’s room on Mother’s Day. When we found out we were pregnant Michael, once again, surprised me with one for baby sisters room! This time it was from Everhart’s ‘Bora Bora’ series which is extra special for us since we had our second wedding there =)

All the items are linked below and I’m working on a post for my must have baby ‘items’ as well!
