My Favorite Fall Booties

Fall is here and that means … booties! I would say its great to start with a good black bootie and a good neutral bootie. Once you own those then you can branch out into the fun stuff =) Animal print is HUGE this season. Not only is our bff leopard print still around and going strong it has some new friends joining it as well. I, personally, am loving all the snake skin print pieces. They are coming in a ton of fun colors and can really give a basic outfit a huge pop. Another big colored bootie this season is white. I am LOVING the fun white studded booties I am seeing everywhere. They can really take a simple outfit up a notch!

First up the basics:

-Black Bootie

Like I said above I started off with a great basic black bootie. There are so many different price point options when it comes to this so feel free to splurge or not! Once you see how often you are wearing them then you can decide when/if you need to get your next pair! Maybe a brown this time?

-Brown/Neutral Bootie

Fall, especially in Chicago, is a tricky sport. You leave for work and its 58degrees. You go for lunch and its 70degrees. You commute home and its 55degrees. Tricky tricky. The nice thing about a good neutral bootie is you can wear it with jeans, dresses, skirts… really anything.

Next Up the ‘Busier’ Booties

-Studded/Detail/Design Booties

This year I purchased some really fun booties and am loving the detail on them. They add so much to a simple outfit. My Jeffrey Campbell Studded booties are not only comfortable but super fun! I brought them on our last trip to Aspen and did quite a bit of walking and they were perfect! I also received several compliments on them so thats a plus =) A big investment piece this year are my Chanel Gold detail booties. I originally went in for the purse but the matching booties were too unique and beautiful to pass up! If you are looking for a splurge these really add a lot to simple fall look!

-Animal Print

There are SO many choices when it comes to animal print booties. Which is really great because that means there are a ton of different price points for you to pick from! I recently purchased this bootie from Charles by Charles David and it is my first snack skin print! I am loving them. They go with everything and really make the whole look pop! Leopard is always a huge hit so if you aren’t ready for snake skin just yet leopard is a great one to start with. You can wear a leopard booties with so many different looks… jeans, red, black, browns, dresses, leggings- its endless! I’ve linked a bunch of fun animal prints below!

-White/Colored

I have fallen in love, big time, with white booties. They are so fun and go with everything! That being said a good colored bootie, red or gold or silver, can always be fun too! These are slightly more limiting compared to the white but still so much fun for fall. My current favorite white bootie, the Phoebe, from coach is a great price for the amazing quality!
