Fourth of July Must Haves for the Family
As you may have noticed from my instagram today, June 24th, is Michael’s birthday! We are currently in Vegas celebrating the birthday boy =) However, the 4th is approaching quickly so I wanted to get this blog post up so you have time to order things and get them in time for the holiday. We usually spend the day on our boat while grilling. We also love to go out the night before, the 3rd, and watch the fireworks from Navy Pier. We love watching from the water because you can park right under the fireworks and its insanely cool to see. Do you have any July 4th traditions? I am happiest with a cheeseburger and corn on the cob haha… but seriously, I have a small corn on the cob obsession.
All that being said, I’m having a hard time believing that July 4th is right around the corner! Mainly because Chicago has barely had a summer yet. We have not been able to take our boat out one day yet this season. Which, if you know my husband, is actual torture for him. Last week we had temps in the 50’s! However, I am hoping summer is finally here and going to stay!
I love holidays. I don’t discriminate and love them all! Don’t get me wrong, I definitely have my top favorites but really I love any excuse to have matching theme outfits with the fam bam!
A lot of these items are things you can wear anytime, not just on the 4th! For example, I have been living in my flag sweater. Its so comfy and the cutest look to pair with shorts or jeans! Love it.
