Kiddos Playroom
Let’s talk playrooms. I needed as much space as possible to try and hide the toys/chaos and give my house some type or normalcy. When we first moved into our new home I knew I wanted the kiddos to have the basement. I wanted to make space for them that was safe and could hold all their awesome toys (insert large eye roll).
Originally our basement was basically one large basement room. I decided to build another bedroom/gym down there and divide up the space. The kiddos area turned out so cute and is the perfect fit for the space. Now if only I could get them to keep their toys in only this space š .
I knew I wanted a boho (ish) theme and was really set on having it as neutral as possible. I started with the storage unit and sort of worked my way from there. I measured the wall and basically maxed it out, size wise, with storage space. The unit we have is three separate pieces that I connected together and then mounted the whole unit to the wall. I did every other chubby with a bin and then left the others open for the larger toys and trucks to sit.
The printed photos of the kids are from Mixtiles. I had used them before for my office and loved the quality and convenience so I decided to try their larger prints and I am just as happy with the results!
