My Sephora Picks

I will be the first to admit I am in no way shape or form a makeup artist. 99% of the time I get my makeup done for events or nights out. However, with the lovely quarantine situation I have had a little more time on my hands so I am trying out some products and doing my own makeup… occasionally. Some of these items I have used for years when we travel and absolutely love. Others, I am trying out for the first time! The items listed are more of a ‘daily look’ makeup routine. Nothing to drastic or dramatic. Just a quick 10-15min application =)

I have used this brads primer for years and recently switched to the ‘photo finish’. It has been great and really makes my skin and foundation look great. Since I work really hard on my skin I don’t usually prefer a heavy full coverage foundation. However, these two have proven to be a favorite. I will say that I mix them both with some moisturizer before applying to make them less ‘thick’… if that makes sense. Before I started using these I was using La Prairie foundation, which I will probably still use when we travel. It is much lighter but still gives some coverage. For now though, it is also a bit more expensive for a daily quarantine look. The final step of this group is the setting powder. This particular one has been a favorite for years!

I JUST started using these two products a couple months ago and I am loving the combination. I use the concealer in ‘porcelain’ shade under my eyes and then apply this setting powder, in lavender, on top. Its the perfect combo and really lasts the day.

I have used the same contour palette for years. I am not talented enough to try and contour with creams or sticks or anything fancy like that. This is the perfect amount of coverage for me and gives a beautiful contour look! Same goes for this blush. I have used it for years. At certain points I have branched out and tried others but I felt they were too red and I looked like a clown. I always find myself back using this one. There isn’t much to say about this highlighter besides… its awesome.

I will be the first to admit that I’m not the greatest with eyeshadows. That being said these have been my go to. I find myself more raccoon like when I try to mess around with powders too much. These are great to apply and then I just rub them in with either my finger or a brush. Give the lid a little something something and I don’t look ridiculous. Winning! I RARELY use top eyeliner because I still struggle with perfecting the line but when I do I find this one to be the best. No smudging and it really lasts all day. I’ve used the same bottom eyeliner pencil since high school. No joke. Over 10years. The pencil lasts FOREVER and never smudges. High recommend.

This is the only setting spray I have ever used so I don’t have much to compare it to but it works great! I use lightly all over my face at the end of everything being applied. Works great!

I have shared this lip sleep mask before and it is still a huge favorite of mine. However, I have gotten in the habit of wearing it during the day as well. I put it over my lipsticks and it helps give it a little shine or pop if you will. These lipsticks I am linking are great! The pencil really helps line the lips and the colors are a perfect neutral. I’ve used this brand for a long time and never have issues with smudges. I have also used these facial drops for years to add a little tan to my face during those cold winter months. I recently switched to the ones with hyaluronic acid which is great for alleviating dry skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles! Win Win Win! Even though the drops are clear I still only need 2-3 drops maximum at a time. I also only use this 2-3 days a week. Lastly, this hair treatment is everything right now! Highly recommend to keep your hair happy, healthy and shining.

Happy Shopping Friends! Hope you enjoy my picks!
