Pregnancy Cravings 

This is a very popular questions I get asked all the time. I will say with all three pregnancies I never had any ‘weird’ cravings. Just certain things were my constant go to!

With Grey I wanted anything and everything cinnamon. I would eat cinnamon toast crunch, cinnamon waffles, and/or add cinnamon to anything I could. It was my all time favorite. With our angel baby I was all about avocado toast. I normally LOVE and eat avocado toast at home a lot but with her I would crave it so bad that when I finally would eat it I would sometimes cry tears of joy. NO JOKE. Michael has actual videos of my sitting in the kitchen crying saying on repeat “it’s just so good”. It was insanely embarrassing haha. With this baby she is all about the big mac salad. I kid you not I think I have had this almost everyday for lunch for the past 4 months. She also loves a good spice so I usually add Franks Red Hots Buffalo Sauce to everything (including my salad). Yes I get heartburn. Yes I know its from the sauce. No I can’t stop. Another big hit for all three pregnancies was cereal. I average three bowls a day and I don’t discriminate on brands/type. At this exact moment I have 7 different types of cereal in my pantry that I rotate through. I usually start the day on ‘healthy bowl’ of mini wheats with fresh fruit or the fiber one with strawberries and vanilla clusters. However, most evenings end with a giant bowl of captain crunch haha.

Over the past few months I would show little clips of the ‘big mac salad’ online and people always had questions so I thought I’d share it here. I found it online. Its basically the “Keto big mac salad’…and no, I don’t do Keto. It makes me feel like I’m eating a cheeseburger so it helps fill that fast food craving itch. You can definitely make a large portion of the salad and the dressing ahead of time and have it for the week. Much easier than doing it all everyday. I do keep the pickles and dressing separate so the lettuce doesn’t get gross and add them in when I’m ready for lunch.
